SAN DIEGO, Calif., August 18, 2016 – Blue Like Neon today announced that it has won top recognition for “Best Mobile UX” in the 2016 Shopify Ecommerce Design Awards. After successfully launching the Luxury Farms website earlier this year, the firm developed a mobile site that combines the spirit of the brand with the ease of use that mobile users are expecting.

“The mobile experience is cleverly optimized for smaller screens and quick inputs, making the shopping experience elegant and efficient,” said award judge Aaron Walter, VP of Design Education at InVision.

“It is essential to connect with consumers on an emotional level and provide them with a story and experience that would entice them to engage and purchase,” said Blue Like Neon’s founder, Ryan Kodzik. “We wanted to encourage exploration and allow users to discover products in an organic way via expressive product categorization that unfolds in the mobile navigation.”

Blue Like Neon’s design was picked from thousands of nominations to be one of only four honored as a 2016 Shopify Ecommerce Design Awards winner; the Luxury Farms mobile site was the sole winner of the “Best Mobile UX” category. Other categories include: Best Homepage, Best Product Page, and Best Overall Ecommerce Design.

In September, Blue Like Neon’s principles will be in New York, New York to accept this prestigious industry award and take advantage of the prize package: exclusive mentorship from key leader’s in the design field.
